Bay City Fire Department is an all volunteer fire department. We are currently looking for volunteers to fill Firefighter and Emergency Medical Responder positions. Anyone 18 years or older who live or work in the Bay City area can apply. No prior experience required. The Bay City Fire Department will provide all of your required training. Your training will include various firefighting subjects from Fire Department Communications through Ventilation. We also train all of our members in Hazardous Materials response as well as CPR and First Aid. Members who wish to take additional training will be able to take classes in various technical rescue areas, apparatus driving and pumper operations. We can also assist members in attaining additional pre hospital emergency medical training such as Emergency Medical Responder or Emergency Medical Technician.

Cadet Program
Bay City Fire Department also has a cadet program that allows teens to get hands on experience in the fields of firefighting and emergency services.
